Richard Lewis Waynick, a 66-year-old Salisbury man was jailed Tuesday after he savagely raped 3 of his family members.
According to the Rowan County Sheriff's Office, detectives began investigating the diabolical "white" pedophile on July 12 after the Rowan County Department of Social Services informed them that he was being accused of having sexual contact with a 4-year-old relative.
Prosecutors say the investigation revealed that Waynick had also sexually terrorized two additional family members, according to evidence and statements collected by authorities.
