The deer may be the same white deer that was born in Monterey earlier this year and delighted neighbors who caught glimpses of it in June when it was a tiny fawn living in Veterans Memorial Park.
That fawn had a sibling that was also pure white. It is unknown if both white fawns survived into adulthood.
Monterey County wildlife experts said they were unable to confirm if the fawns were albinos.
Monterey resident Jeff Ray captured photos and video of the adult snow-white deer on Dec. 3 while it was hanging out on the 800 block of Madison Street.
