character (pages 48 – 50)

Use this word with caution.  When others use this word, ask for a detailed explanation that you can easily understand.  What exactly is “character”?  What exactly is not character?  Which persons are best qualified to decide what is and what is not “character”?

character (blot on his or her)

Do not use this expression.  Instead say “record of his or her non-correct speech or action.”

Reason:  To say that a person has a “blot” on his or her “character” or “reputation” is to (directly or indirectly) promote thought, speech and / or action in support of White Supremacy (Racism).

Questions:  What does a “blot” on a “character” look like”?  How exactly does a reputation” receive something called a “blot”?  Is a “blot” or “spot” often associated with something, dark, destructive and / or out of place?  Is the “color” of a “blot” on a person’s “character” the same as the “color” of a Non-White person?  Why is a “blot” that is not seen called a “blot”?

character (good)

Do not use this term.  When others use this word, ask for a detailed explanation that you can easily understand.  What exactly is “good character”?  What exactly is a “good person”?  Can a person who is not a “good” person be of “good character”?  If so, how?  By doing what?  Which persons are best qualified to decide what persons possess “good character” and what persons do not?  Can a person be a White Supremacist (Racist) and at the same time possess “good character”?

character (having)

Use this term with caution.  When others use this word, ask for a detailed explanation that you can easily understand.  What exactly is “character”?  What exactly is not character?  Which persons are qualified to decide which person “have character” and which persons do not?  Use this term to mean to have the correct intentions, at all times in all areas of activity, including economics, education, entertainment, labor, law, politics, religion, sex and war / counter-war.

Notes:  To “have character” does not necessarily include “being smart” and / or knowing what to do or how to do it.  “Having character” does mean having the intention of (1) guaranteeing that no person is mistreated and having the intention of (2) guaranteeing that the person who needs help the most, gets the most help.

 character (shady)

Do not use this term.  When others use this word, ask for a detailed explanation that you can easily understand.  What exactly makes a “character” “shady”?  Why “shady”?  “Shady” as compared to what?  For what reason?

Note:  During the existence of White Supremacy (Racism) the term “shady character” is sometimes used to (directly or indirectly) promote the thought that dark people are “evil”, “dangerous” and / or generally more “treacherous” than White people.

character (stained)

Do not use this term.  Use instead “incorrect speech and / or action, “incorrect intent,” incorrect characteristics”, etc.

Questions:  How can a person have a “stained character”?  How can a person see the “color” of something [a stain] in a person’s character?

Reason:  White Supremacists (Racists) often use words in a manner that promotes thinking that is derogatory in regards to person, creatures, or things that are “dark” and / or “black” in appearance.  The word “stain” is often associated with a condition of darkness.  It is also often associated with something that is detrimental, annoying, and / or undesirable.

character (swarthy)

Do not use this term. When others use terms like “swarthy character,” “shady character”, etc, ask for a detailed explanation that you can easily understand.  Ask questions.

Questions:  What exactly is “character”?  What exactly is the correct color of character?  Instead of using the term “swarthy character” to apply to any person, use the expression “I do not know what I should know about him or her.”

Note:  During the existence of White Supremacy (Racism), the term “swarthy character” has been used to imply that a person who is “dark” in appearance is dangerous, repulsive, tricky, and / or mysteriously incorrect” because he or she is “dark” in appearance.
