NYANSASEM: A CALENDAR OF REVOLUTIONARY THOUGHTS

compiled by Mwalimu K. Bomani Baruti

Ogyefuo 4 | February 4

“We keep trying to persuade white people to recognize and acknowledge our worth as a people.  We keep trying to impress the wrong person when we need to impress ourselves.”  ~Nathan & Julia Hare~

Warriors best compete against themselves.  The challenge and stakes are always higher than they would be if anyone else were the competition.  We find this leaves us in the best position, being better prepared to reason with fellow thinkers while dismissing stupidity, willful ignorance and insanity for what it is.  The downside is that we sometimes push ourselves beyond human limits in the process.

Affirm

I am reasonable when competing with myself.
