Canadian Santa Claus Faces Child Sex Abuses | Cynical Afrikan

lawrence-doris

Santa is out on bail. Lawrence Doris, 78, tried to hide his face from reporters as he left Gatineau, Quebec, court Thursday afternoon.

The former mall Santa at Les Promenades de l’Outaouais faces sex-abuse charges involving five victims between the ages of nine and 15 between. The sexual crimes occurred between November 2012 and August 2013, according to law enforcement officials.

One of the charges involves a claim a child was inappropriately touched while sitting in pedophile Santa’s chair at the mall. But investigators say the child knew Doris and knew he wasn’t Santa Claus.

“The charges aren’t related to his Santa Claus role,” Sgt. JP LeMay said. He said all of the victims know the fat pedophile, but he wouldn’t say how or in what capacity.

Investigators discovered Doris worked for an agency that hires and places Santa Claus performers in malls and events. That agency contacted the cops for a criminal background check prior to hiring Doris. ”It came back clean,” LeMay said. Doris wasn’t hired to be the Santa at Les Promenades l’Outaouais this year.

This volunteer youth minister and church choir director has been arrested after allegations he repeatedly sexually abused a girl during Sunday school starting when she was 9.

William Richardson, 47, was charged with capital sexual battery after the girl, now 11, told a staff member at her school that he had molested her over a three-year period at the First Baptist Church of Mango in Seffner, Fla., according to reports.

Investigators for the Hillsborough County Sheriffs Dept. said the fat pedophile first molested the girl when she was between 9 and 10. At least one other incident happened earlier this year with the girl, now 11, according to reports.

Before the arrest, deputies had the victim talk with Richardson by phone. They said that during the conversation, he said things that made it clear he had committed the sexual battery, investigators reported.

Staff at the First Baptist Church of Mango said that Richardson was only a volunteer and not a paid employee, the station reported.

Nita Allred, the church’s Youth Ministries Director, is shocked by the allegations.

“How can it be going on that long and we not know about it,” Allred said. ”Somebody would have said something, but nobody said anything.”

Vest Dickerson, wife of the church’s pastor, says all the congregation can do at this time is pray.

“I have to trust in God to see us through,” Dickerson told the station.

William Richardson Sr., Richardson’s father, said that he was shocked to hear of the charges and described his son as ”very much a Christian man” and an important part of church operation.

Richardson’s father said his son had a 20-year-old daughter, but was not married.

Amos Kamil and Kevin T. Mulhearn visit The Context of White Supremacy. Mr. Kamil – a screenwriter, playwright and brand strategist – authored a monumental cover story for the New York Times Magazine on child sexual abuse at Horace Mann School. Mr. Mulhearn is the Founder and Managing Partner of Kevin T. Mulhearn, P.C.; additionally, he’s the co-founder and counsel of The White Tower Healing Foundation, Inc., a non-profit corporation which helps adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Our distinguished guests will discuss their respective investigations into long running allegations of sexual abuse against dozens – if not hundreds – of children. How were these vile acts allowed to continue? How is it that several of the suspected pedophiles were celebrated even after their suspected abuse was made public? We’ll ask Mr. Kamil and Attorney Mulhearn if these suspected child molesters deserve sympathy.

online support for Black / Afrikan sexual abuse survivors

The mission of the Black Sexual Abuse Survivors (BSAS) Web  site is to serve as an online support group for black, adult males and females  who were sexually abused as children.

BSAS is a non-professional,  not-for-profit resource, where its participants provide support to each other  online with their recovery from sexual abuse.

What is Sexual Abuse?
Sexual abuse is when a person (usually  an adult, but can be another child/teen)  forces or manipulates a child/teen into  sexual activity, or uses the child/teen for his/her sexual gratification. This can  include incest.

What is Incest?
Incest is sexual activity with a relative.
(Please note: Some individuals have expanded this definition to include non-blood-related, individuals who have a close relationship to the family or child/teen)

What are Sexual Abuse Survivors Recovering from?
They are recovering from being victims.

General Definitions
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD): a psychological reaction occurring after experiencing a highly stressing event (i.e. wartime combat, physical violence, sexual abuse or a natural disaster) that is usually characterized by depression, anxiety, flashbacks, recurrent nightmares and avoidance of reminders of the event — abbreviation PTSD — called also post-traumatic stress syndrome.

Coping Mechanisms: The sum total of ways in which we deal with minor to major stress and trauma. Some of these processes are unconscious ones, others are learned behavior, and still others are skills we consciously master in order to reduce stress, or other intense emotions like depression.

Sexual Abuse Survivor: someone who has experienced sexual abuse but identifies his/herself as a survivor as opposed to a victim. A survivor has the desire to live and rebuild their life.

Perpetrator: A person who commits a sexual act against a child. This person can be a man, woman, child/teen. Despite a common myth, homosexual men are not more likely to sexually abuse children than heterosexual men are.
